Living Hope Groups

  • Youth Group

    When: Sundays for 45 minutes during the worship service

    Where: Room 101

    Format: Led by Jordan Norfleet and Lisa Steigerwald, students examine scripture and its relevance to their lives as young people (while partaking of donuts). The group also engages in service projects and outings throughout the year, such as volunteering at the World Vision Storehouse in the Bronx, apple picking, dinner outings, movie nights, and the annual Nicaragua Missions Trip.

  • Women's Book Discussion & Prayer Group

  • Tuesday Morning Women's Bible Study

    Current study: Unshakeable Faith: 8 Traits for Rock-Solid Living

    When: Tuesdays 9:30-11am

    Where: Meets in homes, alternating monthly. Contact Happy for current location.

    For: Women of any age from Living Hope and the community, and any level of bible study experience.

    Format: Book study and discussion. Breakfast and catch-up time every five or six weeks.

    Cost: Study guide cost varies $5-12

  • Women's Fellowship

    To connect women to each other and to the lord

    When: 3rd Tuesday of each month 12:30-2pm

    Where: Hospitality Room

    For: Living Hope women

    Format: Event planning - events include soup & salad supper, coffee connections, Spring renewal day, the Christmas Tea, and more

  • Men's Bible Study

    When: Tuesdays at 7pm

    Where: Room 101

    For: Men of all ages and levels of bible study experience

    Format: Bible study and prayer. Dinner out between studies.

  • MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)

    When: 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month September through May, with optional bible study on the 2nd Wednesday. Time: 9:30-11:45

    Where: Hospitality Room or Room 102

    For: Mothers of children 0-5 from a wide variety of churches and nearby communities

    Format: Format varies - video and discussion, cookie exchange, social, speakers

    Childcare: Provided in the Nursery

    Cost: $250 per year or $125 per semester

  • Bibles & Bagels

    Current Study: Hebrews

    When: Saturdays 7:15-8:30am

    Where: Room 102

    For: Men of all ages from Living Hope and the community, and all levels of bible study experience

    Format: No preparation required. A verse-by-verse journey through a book of the Bible, in context, studying its meaning and application to our daily walk with God. The meeting begins with fellowship, followed by round-table discussion, and ends with prayer. Bibles, bagels, and coffee available.
