prayer

"Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are - yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."

Hebrews 4:14-16

Prayer & Healing ministry

Sometimes a brief prayer after church or an emailed prayer request just can't cover it all. We often carry deep hurt toward others and God. We do things we think are unforgivable and suffer shame. Our bodies break down in ways that prevent us from doing what God calls us to do. We are plagued by illogical oppression. The hurtful words and actions of others in the past continue to negatively impact the present. We pray and it feels like God isn't listening. At times like this, consider making a healing prayer appointment at Living Hope. Meet with a team of trained Prayer Team members for an hour or two and seek healing guided by the Holy Spirit and the Bible. Jesus cares about your whole health - he wants you to be able to follow him uninhibited.

Pray around the world

Each Sunday during our worship service, Living Hope Community Church prays for a different country around the world. We use resources provided by Operation World, a ministry of InterVarsity Press. Operation World provides statistics on population, people groups, languages spoken, religion, and specific prayer challenges for each country. Their "Pray Today" page updates daily with a new prayer prompt for those who like to pray throughout the week.
