New to Living Hope?

Section Title

WELCOME!

The thought of visiting a church can be intimidating. We hope the actual experience is more like spending time with the multi-generational extended family you've always wanted.

SERVICE TIME: 10AM

DETAILS

TIME

Sundays at 10 AM

LOCATION

38 West End Avenue near the intersection of Sound Beach Ave and West End in Old Greenwich (where the fire station is). Park anywhere in the church lot. Handicap parking is available on the right as you enter the lot.

WHAT TO WEAR

Whatever you like. You'll see everything from shorts to suits.

WHERE TO GO

Enter through the bank of white doors up the broad steps.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

Nursery care is provided for children ages 0-3 at the end of the hall on the right (Room 105). Older children start out in the service with their parents for the songs, then go to age-appropriate classes with their teachers.

Middle/High School kids will start in the sanctuary and will go to the youth room to meet with Jordan!

FORMAT

Our worship service typically lasts an hour, and includes worship songs, a message, and several prayers. We project the words for the songs on screens behind the band. Bibles are provided in case you don't have one of your own.

MUSIC

Music ranges from worship songs you would hear on the radio today to hymns Christ-followers have loved for hundreds of years. The band usually includes keyboard, bass guitar, classical guitar, violin, drums, and three or four singers.

COFFEE HOUR

Coffee Hour is held following the service.

This is a great chance to meet some new faces and catch up on the week.

"We recently moved to Connecticut and were looking for a new church home. From the moment we entered the church, we were welcomed and made to feel so comfortable. It's great to be part of an active church community, with members of all ages, that actively pursue the true living hope we have in Jesus!"

About Pastor Jason

Jason brings a multi-faceted background of leadership and wisdom to people and organizations with whom he works. God currently uses him as a life coach and consultant to executives, mentor to pastors and Christian leaders, sought-after speaker, creator of Christian training seminars and best-selling author. Jason is a former two-sport All-American athlete, serving as captain of the Brown University football team and national qualifier in the discus.

In addition to being the senior pastor of two church plants in New England, he served on the staff of Stanwich Church in Greenwich, CT for six years. During this time, he developed the Omega Course and his mentoring ministry which Stanwich commissioned him to share with the church at large through the creation of the Life Spring Network in 2006. Through Life Spring Network he continues to consult with churches in North America including some intensive disciple-making projects. From 2009-2014 he worked with Trinity Church in Roselle, IL to transform their leadership and congregation into a holistic, transformational disciple-making community. In 2014, he was commissioned to lead the LUKE project which focused on revitalizing five congregations in the city of Chicago. In 2017, his family moved to the inner city of Chicago to plant Chicago Hope Church, a multi-cultural, disciple-making community on the Near West Side of Chicago. This is where they expanded their family and took in students and people from the community in need. This ministry was called the Hope House for Christian N.U.R.T.U.R.E.

As a life-long learner, Jason has earned a A.B. in Business Economics and A.B. in Organizational Behavior and Management from Brown University, a Masters of Divinity from Southern Theological Seminary and a Doctorate (DMin.) in Christian Community Development from Northern Seminary. He is also a graduate of the Arrow Leadership program, completed his course work for a Doctorate in Christian Leadership at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and studied Lutheran doctrine and the Reformation at Concordia Seminary. Jason is married to Jen and has four children. Now God has led them back to Greenwich to Pastor Living Hope!
