Welcome to Living Hope Community Church in Old Greenwich, Connecticut. We are so excited that you are exploring membership or what we call Covenant Partnership.
One of the key invitations that God gives to all of His followers is to become part of His family! God is a covenant making and covenant keeping God. When we enter into covenant relationships with others we are defining the relational expectations. We find that the covenant relationships that God commands us to enter into with Him and one another are for our protection and our growth. God desires for His people to flourish while we follow His guidance together in His strength. Because of this we have created a course that clarifies how God commands us to live under His Lordship and with one another in the Church (what Jesus calls His Body). We call the course Body Life Basics (BLB).

This journey can be done one-on-one by getting the Body Life Basics workbook, watching the teaching videos on our website and meeting with an elder to discuss the content; or it can be done in a live classroom with small group breakouts follower by an elder interview.
Prospective members must first demonstrate that they understand and embrace the Gospel by repenting from your sins, receiving thegrace and forgiveness of God and submitting themselves to Him as Lord.
If you have never been baptized, speak with one of our pastors about the importance of baptism and get baptized. If you have been baptized as a child speak with a pastor about your understanding of this Sacrament.
Everybody interested in membership needs to take the Body Life Basics seminar to understand how to live in a biblically functioning community through church membership and grow as a disciple.
Every prospective Covenant Partner must be interviewed by an Elder. This elder interview is to discuss any questions and verify that the prospective Covenant Partner understands and is committed to pursuing God’s mission for their lives. Joining as a Covenant Partner includes entering into and signing our church covenant.
And renew your commitment to God, the church and our mission annually. We welcome and accept Covenant Partners during a worship service where we pray for them, receive them into our covenant community, and begin living together as God’s family of faith. Every year Covenant partners will be asked to renew their commitment to God, to the other members of our covenant community and to our mission.
People are drawn to churches for various reasons, seeking answers, deepening faith, finding supportive fellowship, and educating their children. Membership in our congregation represents a meaningful covenant commitment to each other and the church, fostering a deeper experience and expression of God’s love. God is doing something beautiful in our midst here. We welcome you to be a part of it.
