We will open our sanctuary for anyone who would like to quietly reflect Jesus’ Passion, from his condemnation by Pontius Pilate to his burial.
The 14 Stations of the Cross:

- Jesus takes up his cross
- Jesus falls the first time
- Jesus meets his mother, Mary
- Simon of Cyrene helps Jesus carry the cross
- Veronica wipes the face of Jesus
- Jesus falls the second time
- Jesus meets the women of Jerusalem
- Jesus falls the third time
- Jesus is stripped of his garments
- Jesus is nailed to the cross
- Jesus dies on the cross
- Jesus is taken down from the cross
- Jesus is laid in the tomb
How to Pray at the Stations
- Find the Stations: Locate them along the walls in the church sanctuary
- Start with an Opening Prayer: Begin with a prayer of contrition
- Meditate at Each Station: Move to each station, pausing to contemplate the scene depicted, often with a Scripture reading or reflection
- Conclude with prayer
